Our timing accuracy is top-notch, but it does depend on external factors like how you mount the device and what's around you. We’ve tested Gpace in all sorts of conditions—from open fields to dense forests—and it maintains accuracy below 1 meter. On a sunny day at the track, you can get less than 0.2 meters (8 inches) accuracy. Our tests show that Gpace’s timing accuracy is within a hundredth of a second over 99% of the time when compared to official timing gear.

Your data is secure with Gpace, and we do not share detailed driving data with anyone. Even most of our team has limited access to only essential information like the number of recorded sessions, tracks used, device accuracy, and performance. Detailed driving data is accessed only with your explicit permission, typically for support purposes.

You can definitely give it a shot! However, keep in mind that Gpace VT-1 is primarily designed for use in a car on a track or drag strip. It’s not waterproof, so keep it dry and find a good way to mount it!
